4 basic rules for landscapes

If you are a starter in photography and given the dates come out of vacation, possibly you face the possibility of photographing many landscapes.

To return from your holiday do not be disappointed with the result that captures images, we leave four basic rules of composition are very useful when you capture landscapes.

1 - Diagonal Lines: the use of diagonals is a very effective way to draw attention to your image and give it a more dynamic and creative composition. When we speak of lines worth clarifying that this is not literally a hard line in the strict sense of the word, but may be the line formed by a road, trees or a river.

 2 - Geometric means the use of geometric shapes in a landscape scene is the most traditional in achieving balance in the composition, and if you use them wisely, to direct the eye to the main protagonist of your catch.

3 - Rule of Thirds: This is the first rule you learn in most traditional photography courses. Although it is often better to break that respect, we must admit that in matters of landscape photography is a very effective technique. Basically to comply with this rule must draw four imaginary lines that divide, both horizontally and vertically, our scene into three equal parts and place the focus of the scene in one of the intersections of these lines.

 

 

4 - Frame pictures: this technique is to add elements to the fore as a framework is the main purpose of our photography. Some of the more traditional methods for this is to include branch dominate the top of a picture or shoot a wall landscape through a bridge or arch.

 

 

 

Finally, let me clarify that all rules have been made to respect them and break them in equal measure, it is important to know when to use them and when not to.
